Lake Conggo

When spring comes with the warm current of Bangladesh, birds that fly to the continent of South Asia in the previous winter return to Ngari Plateau.

Flapping their wings and singing, they will lay eggs, hatch them and bring up their youngsters. Thousands of gulls and wild geese and ducks fly merrily covering the sky. That is the scene on the Bird Island in Conggo Lake, a wonder of Ngari Plateau.

It is an inland lake, 4242 meters above sea level. The water is fresh, medium salt and salt from east to west. Most of the water at Rutog is fresh.

There are many islands and islets on the lake, of which the most famous is the Bird Island with good ecological environment. Thousands of gulls, wild geese and ducks of various species covering the island, you??ll find it difficult to walk on it. Birds hovering over your heads may even empty their bowels to protest against the invasion of their territory.
