Duration: 9 Days 
Route: Beijing-Lhasa-Yangpachen-Lhasa-Gyantse-Lhatse-Tingri-Everest-Shigatse-Lhasa-Beijing-China
Attractions: fly from Beijing to Lhasa, visit famous Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and Barkore street. Go to Namtso Lake via Yangpachen. Travel over Gangba Pass to see Lake Yamdrok. Then go to Lhatse, Tingri, visiting Rongbuk Temple and waiting for sunrise at Everest Base Camp. Next go to Shigatse visit Tashilunpo Monastery, Luobulinka. Lastly go back to Lhasa have a general look in Lhasa. Then fly back to Beijing.      

Itinerary

Day 01: Beijing-Lhasa
Fly to Lhasa by yourself (there is a direct flight CA4112 taking off on 09:15 am and arriving at Lhasa on 15:05 ). After arrive at Lhasa Gongar airport, our local guide will meet you and bring you to Lhasa. Then check into the hotel, you can have a recovery in this high sea level city. And overnight in Lhasa.  

Day 02: Lhasa
After breakfast we will drive to visit the world famous Potala Place, which was built in 7th century during the Tang Dynasty for King Songtsan Gambo's wife Princess Wencheng. After lunch go on visit Jokhang Temple and Barkhore Street ( the business center of Lhasa), having a general idea for Tibetan culture and life. And overnight in Lhasa. (B)

Day 03: around Lhasa

Today we will go to Namtso Lake via Yangpachen hot spring. On the way you will see Nyenchen Thanglha snow mountain ranges, and also you will pass the Nagela Pass. Namtso Lake is the sky lake which is one of the three holy lakes, and also the highest salt lake. You can do a bit trekking at the lake side . On the way back , you will have a chance to have hot-spring at Yangpachen. Overnight in Lhasa. (B)

Day 04: Lhasa-Gyantse-Lhatse
Travel over Gangba Pass which is over 5,000 m to see Lake Yamdrok. Yamdrok Lake is one of the three holy lakes in Tibet. Then drive back to Qushui along the Nepal friendship way to Gyantse, visit the famous Kumpum stupa in Gyantse. In the afternoon drive to Lhatse. Overnight in Shanghai Grand Hotel. (B)   

Day 05: Lhatse-Tingri-Everest
Early morning start driving to Rongbuk via Shegar. The road is a bit rough, on the way you will cross over Gyatsola Pass at 5,220 m, which is the highest en route.
Rongbuk is the highest monastery in Tibet, still a good point to see Mt. Everest. Afternoon start trekking from Rongbuk to E.B.C , it takes about 2 hours. Or you can take animal carriage ( 30rmb/per person). Overnight at E.B.C tent Guesthouse. (dorm beds).
Note: The entrance fee of Mt. Everest Base Camp is 180rmb/per person. Then Entry fee of the Land cruiser to E.B.C. is 405rmb. If the weather is quite there ,you will have a chance to see the sunset. (B)

Day 06: Everest-Shigatse
In the morning we will wait for sunrise at Everest Base Camp, hoping you are lucky guy for that. And you must solve the breakfast problem by yourself. After the wonderful morning we will go back to Rongbuk and start the journey to Shigatse. And overnight in Shigatse.

Day 07: Shigatse-Lhasa
In the morning we will go to visit Tashilunpo Monastery, where is also called the Bachen Lama Set. It was built in 1447 by the first Dalai Lama. In the afternoon drive back to Lhasa along Yarlong Tasngpo rover by the Nepal friendship road. And overnight in Lhasa. (B) 

Day 08: Lhasa
After breakfast we will drive to visit Luobulinka, the summer palest of Dalai Lama. Then go to Tibetan hospital and museum. Overnight in Lhasa. (B)

Day 09: Lhasa
You will be transferred to airport and fly back to Chengdu by the flight CA4111 that will take off on 16:05 and arrive at Beijing on 21:35. All service ends. (B)
