10 days To EBC ( Everest Base Camp )  Mt.Everest Tingri Shigatse in Tibet for Adventure & Exploration

Route: Chengdu-Lhasa-Yangpachen-Shigatse-Tingri-Shigatse-Lhasa-Chengdu-China
Attractions: fly to Lhasa from Chengdu, visit Stone Giant Buddha, famous Potala Palace, Jokhan Temple, and Barkhore street, go on to Yangpachen with hot spring, then go to higatse visit Yamdrok Lake by the way. Next go to Tingri for EBC (Everest Base Camp). Then go back to Lhasa by the way of Shigatse. Lastly visit Tashilunpo Monastery and local bazaar in Lhasa.

Itinerary

Day 01: Chengdu-Lhasa

Meet at Chengdu airport in the morning. Then fly to Lhasa Gongar airport. As soon as you arrive at airport our local guide will pick up you at there and transfer to Lhasa City. On the road visit Stone Giant Buddha. In the afternoon firstly we will check into hotel and have a rest and recovery in this high altitude area. And overnight in Lhasa. (L/D)

Day 02: Lhasa

Today, our tour will be started with the world famous Potala Palace (excluded entry fee of sightseeing). And we must get up at about 8:00 am, after breakfast drive to there. The Potala Place was built in 7th century during the Tang Dynasty for King Songtsan Gambo's wife Princess Wencheng. We will finish out visit at about 12:30, after using lunch drive back to hotel have a rest. At approximate 15:00 drive to Jokhang Temple ( the most famous and oldest building in Lhasa), Barkhore Street ( the business center of Lhasa), having a general idea for Tibetan culture and life. Lastly, at about 18:00 take the supper. The whole day's tour ends. And overnight in Lhasa. (B/L/D)

Day 03: Lhasa-Yangpachen

We will cost the whole day to Yangpanchen. It is close to Namtso Lake. In Yangpanchen the earliest heat base has been developed. There are many hot springs and mysterious hot water lake with a heat explosion unseen elsewhere. In the afternoon come back to Lhasa. And spend night in Lhasa. (B/L/D)

Day 04: Yangpachen-Shigatse

We will go through the turquoise Lake Yamdrok on the vast Tibetan Plateau. Yamdrok Lake situated in Lhoka area with an cover of 621 square km and the elevation of 4,441 m is one of the three holy lakes in Tibet. Also it is the largest lake on the northern slope of the Himalayas. On the way we can enjoy wonderful sightseeing and take pictures. Later go on to Shigatse. (B/L/D) 

Day 05: Shigatse-Tingri
After using breakfast, we will drive to Tingri, the old town in southern Tibet, for night. (B/L/D)

Day 06: Tingri
Drive to Rongbuk Monastery and trek about 7KM (per your body condition) to EBC (the Everest Base Camp), explore around EBC and Rongbuk Monastery (B/L/D, ready-food for lunch)  

Day 07: Tingri
After using breakfast, trek to EBC for exploring around. And spend night in Rongbuk monastery or Tingri hotel. (B/L/D)

Day 08: Tingri-Shigatse
After using breakfast, drive back to Shigatse for night. (B/L/D)

Day 09: Shigatse-Lhasa
In Lhasa we will visit Tashilunpo Monastery and local bazaar. And drive back to Lhasa in the afternoon. (B/L/D)
 

Day 10: Lhasa-Chengdu
Transferred to the airport and fly back to Chengdu. End of the trip. (B)
