Route: Zhongdian-Deqing-Yanjing-Mangkam-Zogang-Bangdag-Baxio-Bome-Nyingchi-Basongtso Lake-Lhasa-Chengdu-China
Attractions: arrive in Yunnan Zhongdian, then go to Deqing, Yanjing, Mangkam. On the road watching beautiful scenery and enjoying the different culture. Next go on journey to Zogang, Bangdag, Baxio and Bome. Later arrive at Nyingchi visit visit Ancient Cypress Forests and AM visit Ba Yi Town, then go to Lhasa by pass Basongtso Lake. After arrive in Lhasa visiting Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhore Street.     

Itinerary

Day 01: arrive in Yunnan Zhongdian
Arrive in Zhongdian where is jumping-off point for this tour. Zhongdian county which is a primarily Tibetan country in northwest Yunnan province was renamed after the fictional land of Shangri-La in the James Hilton novel “Lost Horizon” in 2001. And many travelers use this town as a gateway to Tibet. (D)

Day 02: Deqing-Yanjing-Mangkam
Leave Deqing to Mangkam on the way of Yanjing. (B/L/D)
Mangkam Mountain at the sea level of 3,500 to 4,500 meters, where is cool and the plantation and the vegetation are protected well. Though the topography of the nature reserve is high and rugged, the transportation there is convenient for the Yunnan-Tibet Highway passes through it.

Day 03: Mangkam-Zogang-Bangdag
Leave Mangkam to Bangdang by pass Zogang. (B/L/D)

Day 04: Bangdag-Baxio-Bome
Leave Bangdag to Bome on the way of Baxio. (B/L/D)

Day 05: Bome-Nyingchi
Leave Bome to Nyingchi. And when arrive at Nyingchi visit Ancient Cypress Forests and AM visit Ba Yi Town, overnight in Nyingchi.(B,L,D)

Day 06:  Nyingchi-Basongtso Lake 
Tour to visit Ancient Cypress Forests and AM visit Ba Yi Town, in the afternoon: drive back to Lhasa. (B,L,D)

Day 07: Basongtso Lake-Lhasa
Getting up at about 8:00am , after using breakfast, drive to visit the wonder of the world---Potala Palace. Finish sightseeing at about 12:30, after using lunch outside Drive back to the hotel to take a rest. About 15:00, drive to visit Jokhang Temple-the most famous and oldest building in Lhasa. then visit Barkhore Street, the business center of Lhasa. The whole day visiting will finish at about 18:00, taking dinner and having rest afterwhile., overnight in Lhasa. (B/L/D)

Day 08: Lhasa-Chengdu
Transferred to the airport and fly to Chengdu or Beijing. End of the trip. (B)
