Route: Chengdu-Lhasa-Basongtso-Nyingchi-Jiacha-Zedang-Gyantse-Shigatse-Namtso-Yangpachen-Lhasa-China
Attractions: fly to Lhasa visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Monastery, and Barkhor street. As well as Appreciate Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery and Norbulingka Palace. Next go to Basongtso lake, Nyingchi visit Ancient Cypress Forests and Ba Yi Town. Then drive to Jiacha and Zedang
by pass Numlaco lake, visiting Yumlakang, Tanchuk Temple, Tibetan King's Tombs.  

Itinerary

Day 01: Chengdu-Lhasa
We will meet you at Chengdu airport in the morning, then fly to Lhasa Gongar airport. Our local guide will pick up you at there and transfer to Lhasa City. On the road visit Stone Giant Buddha. In the afternoon firstly we will have a rest and recovery in this high altitude area. And overnight in Lhasa. (L,D)

Day 02: Lhasa
Getting up at about 8:00am , after using breakfast, drive to visit the wonder of the world---Potala Palace. Finish sightseeing at about 12:30, after using lunch outside Drive back to the hotel to take a rest. About 15:00, drive to visit Jokhang Temple-the most famous and oldest building in Lhasa. Then visit Barkhore Street, the business center of Lhasa. The whole day visiting will finish at about 18:00, taking dinner and having rest after while. Overnight in Lhasa. (B,L,D)

Day 03: Lhasa
Getting up at about 8:00am , after using breakfast, drive to visit Sera Monastery, Finish sightseeing at about 12:30, after using lunch outside Drive back to the hotel to take a rest. About 15:00, drive to visit Norbulingka, Drepung Monastery, overnight in Lhasa. (B,L,D)
The Sera Monastery is a famous monastery located at in the northern suburb of Lhasa city. The Sera Monastery is dedicated to the Gelugpa or Yellow Hat Sect, a branch of Tibetan Buddhism, founded by Tsong Khapa. Jamchen Chojey, one of Tsong Khapa's disciples built the monastery in 1419 during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). The monastery was named Sera which means wild rose in the Tibetan language, because the hill behind it was covered with wild roses in bloom when the monastery was built. 
Norbulingka Palace, which is the summer palace of the Dalai Lama, is constructed during the time of the sixth Dalai Lama since he had a weak body and has to rest in a cool area during summers.
Drepung Monastery located at the foot of Mt. Gephel, which was known for the high standards of its academic study. And it was also called the Nalanda of Tibet, a reference to the great Buddhist monastic university of India.

Day 04: Lhasa-Basongtso
After breakfast, drive from Lhasa to Basongtso Lake. overnight in Basongtso. (B,L,D)

Day 05: Basongtso
Rest in Basongtso Lake Holiday Village. overnight in Basongtso. (B,L,D)
Lake Basongtso: Located about 90 kilometers west of Gongbo'gyamda County, the Basum Lake is an alpine lake at the middle and upper reaches of the Ba River, which is the largest tributary of the Nyang River. The lake surface is on average about 3,538 meters above sea level. The lake covers an area of 25.9 square kilometers. The deepest part is about 60 meters from the surface. The blue, limpid lake water and the verdant mountain around the lake combine into a charming scene that can be compared with those in Switzerland.

Day 06: Basongtso-Nyingchi
After breakfast, drive from Basongtso Lake to Nyingchi, visit Ancient Cypress Forests and Ba Yi Town. overnight in Nyingchi.(B,L,D

Day 07: Nyingchi-Jiacha
After breakfast, drive from Nyingchi to Jiacha .overnight in Zedang. (B,L,D)

Day 08: Jiacha-Zedang
After breakfast, drive from Jiacha to Zedang. On the way visit Namulaco Lake .overnight in Zedang. (B,L,D)

Day 09: Zedang
After using breakfast, drive to visit Yumlakang, Tanchuk Temple, Tibetan King's Tombs, overnight in Zedang. (B,L,D)

Day 10: Zedang-Gyangtse
after using breakfast, drive to Gyangtse, On the way visit (Yamdroktso Lake. overnight in Gyangtse. (B,L,D)

Day 11: Gyangtse-Shigatse
after using breakfast, drive to Shigatse, visit Tashilunpo Monastery. overnight in Shigatse. (B,L,D)

Day 12: Shigatse-Namtso
After using breakfast, drive to Namtso lake. overnight in Namtso. (B,L,D)

Day 13: Namtso
Visit Namtso Lake and Qiangtang Grassland. overnight in Namtso. (B,L,D)
Namtso lake in the Tibet Autonomous region was selected as one of the five most beautiful lakes in China by Chinese National Geography magazine and the second largest saltwater lake after Qinghai lake. Namtso Lake’s touching beauty should not be missed by any traveler who visits Tibet with its purity. In Tibetan, Namtso means 'Heavenly Lake.' It is considered one of the three holy lakes in Tibet. Namtso is famous for its high altitude (4720 meters (about 3 miles)), vast area (1961 square kilometers (about 757 square miles) and beautiful scenery.

Day 14: Namtso-Lhasa
In the morning have a breakfast firstly. Then drive to Yangpachen. Yangpacheng which is close to Namtso Lake is the earliest heat base to be developed. It's well known for the hot springs and mysterious hot water lake with a heat explosion unseen elsewhere. In the late afternoon we will go back to Lhasa. And overnight in Lhasa. (B/L/D)

Day 15: Lhasa-Chengdu
Transferred to the airport and fly back to Chengdu. All service ends. (B)
