Route: Chengdu-Kangding-Luhuo-Dege-Changdu-Basum-Bomi-Miling-Tsetang-Lhasa-China
Attractions: arrive in Chengdu, then start our jeep tour. Go to Lhasa by pass Kangding, visit local monastery in Kangding next go on journey to Daohuo, Xinduqiao, Luhuo, Dege. In Dege visit Ganzi monastery and Dege monastery, also Tibetan hospital. Then drive to Changdu visit Jampaling monastery. Later go to Bomi, Miling, Tsetang. In Tsetang visit Yongbulakhang Monastery, Tomb of Tibetan King and Lubu temple. Finally, arrive at Lhasa, visiting Potala Palace, Jukhang Temple, and Bakhor street.

Itinerary

Day 01: Chengdu

Arrive in Chengdu. And you will check into Jinhe Hotel (3 star). You must arrange the meals by yourself. But you have many choice in Chengdu, because there are so many different tasted food.

Day 02: Chengdu-Kangding

Today we will start our jeep  tour to Lhasa. The first stop is Kangding we will visit the local monastery. And stay there for night.

Kangding is an ethnic township located in the historical Tibetan region of Kham where is in Tibetan Autonoumous Prefecture in western Sichuan province. A raging river splits the city, thus the constant sound of water emanates throughout much of the city.

Day 03: Kangding-Xinduqiao-Luhuo

Drive to Luhuo by pass Xinduqiao where is called the "Heaven for Photographers" and Daohuo.

Day 04: Luhuo-Dege

Today we will drive to Dege on the road visit Ganzi monastery. Ganzi monastery is located in north of the town's Tibetan Quarter. Over 540 years old, it glimmers with blinding quantities of gold. Encased on the walls of the main hall are hundreds of small golden Sakyamunis. In a smaller hall just west of the main hall is an awe-inspiring statue of Jampa (Maitreya or Future Buddha), dressed in a giant silk robe. And overnight in Dege hotel.

Day 05: Dege

This day we will till stay at Dege for visiting printing house, Dege monastery and Tibetan hospital.

Day 06: Dege-Changdu

Drive to Changdu(Chamdo), and overnight in Changdu hotel.
The sightseeing in Chamdo includes Chamdo town, Jampaling monastery, and Zezhol monastery.

Chamdo town is in the east of Tibet Autonomous Region and also is the political, economic, culture and transportation center of Chamdo region.

Day 07: Changdu

Spend the whole day in Changdu. Visit the sightseeings in there such as Jampaling monastery, which was built in 1444 by one of the Tsong Khapa's disciples, it belongs to Tibetan Bhuddism.

Or Zezhol monastery preserves the most complete traditions of Bon religion.   Drive to Basum for night.

Day 08: Changdu-Basum

Drive to Basum for night.

Day 09: Basum-Bomi

Drive to Bomi for night.

Day 10: Bomi-Miling

Drive to Miling and spend your night in Miling.

Day 11: Miling-Tsetang

Drive to Tsetang for night, visit Yongbulakhang Monastery, Tomb of Tibetan King and Lubu temple.

Day 12: Tsetang-Lhasa

Drive to Lhasa, visit Samye Monastery and Mindroling Monastery, Shangbala hotel for night.

Day 13: Lhasa

Today, our tour will be started with the world famous Potala Palace. The Potala Place was built in 7th century during the Tang Dynasty for King Songtsan Gambo's wife Princess Wencheng. We will finish the visit, we will visit Jokhang Temple ( the most famous and oldest building in Lhasa), Barkhore Street ( the business center of Lhasa), having a general idea for Tibetan culture and life. And overnight in Lhasa.  After breakfast all of the service ends.

Day 14: Lhasa

After breakfast all of the service ends.

Every year from April to September, it is the best time to travel through some of the most attractive and beautiful areas in Sichuan and Tibet where you can enjoy the most typical Tibetan culture, life and landscape. With our 4 wheel drive land- cruiser, you start from Chengdu and end in Chengdu after you fly back from Lhasa, we will lead you driving through Tibet Plateau.
